Glamsterdam goes live on Sepolia tomorrow. Activation is set for 6 October at 13:53:36 UTC (7:23 PM IST) The Ethereum Foundation's announcement now lists Sepolia-ready releases for six execution clients and six consensus clients. Two of the consensus releases, Grandine and Lighthouse, are still release candidates. Here are the details. Prysm 7.2.0 and Teku 26.9.1 both support the fork, but default to a 60M gas limit after activation. Validators who want to propose with a 200M gas limit have to configure it explicitly. On Prysm, the old suggested gas limit flag has no effect after the fork. That's a good reminder of how Ethereum actually scales. A hard fork doesn't flip the gas limit to a new number. It makes a higher limit safe, and then validators and client defaults decide how fast we get there. So 200M is a capacity the fork enables, not a switch it throws. A few other things worth knowing before tomorrow. Builder and validator tooling guidance is still listed as coming once confirmed for Sepolia. The bug bounty is already live for the Glamsterdam specs, and client releases become eligible once they're added to the release tables.
