When I first saw Harbor adopt Morpho, my initial thought was: Why not build it ourselves? But upon further reflection, this choice actually makes perfect sense. Because often times, reinventing the wheel isn’t the best approach. Morpho is already a market-proven DeFi infrastructure. It has real users. It has been audited. And it has mature, battle-tested mechanisms. So instead of building a lending market from scratch, Harbor chose to leverage existing infrastructure— freeing up more resources to focus on what they truly want to do: SeaVerity. Contributor Network. SHIP Protocol. And Maritime Intelligence. I think this is a very pragmatic approach. Because every team has its own strengths. Some excel at lending. Others at verification. Others at data networks. Rather than trying to build everything themselves, it’s smarter to combine proven tools— to ultimately create a more complete product. So when I look at Harbor, I don’t just see the yields. I care more about: What role does it play within the entire Ethra ecosystem? Because it may not be the end goal— but rather the first entry point to the entire SHIP Network. @EthraShip
