Former Ethereum Foundation members just launched Ethereum Institutional. I keep thinking about what it means that the people who built it had to create a separate organization to sell it. The Ethereum Foundation was built for builders. Ethereum Institutional is built for buyers. Different organizations. Different languages. Different success metrics. In every technology wave — the builders who could also speak to buyers were the ones who became generational companies. The builders who couldn't speak to buyers gave their technology away to intermediaries who could. The Ethereum Foundation gave the technology away. Ethereum Institutional is the intermediary. Korean builders right now: How many of you speak "compliance department"? That's the language that determines whether your technology gets adopted. 🏗️
