Yesterday at the Builder pitch event, I heard an intriguing project. You know those time capsules—burying a metal box under a tree as a kid, digging it up a decade later? Well, now it’s on-chain. Autonomic Disrupt is a decentralized time capsule DApp. You write an encrypted message, attach tokens, and set a time lock—only accessible three years, five years, or even after your death, to someone you designate. The tokens inside are airdropped only when the capsule opens. It’s a very East Asian kind of romance: some things you’re too afraid to say now, you entrust to your future self—and a smart contract. You could even leave a chain-based letter for your child ten years from now, along with some ETH. Even if you lose your private key or pass away, the contract still executes. Cruel, yet tender. The current functionality is still basic—only core capsule creation is live—and the five-person team is refining it. But I’m deeply drawn to the underlying logic: immutable timestamps, encrypted content, token binding, and delayed fulfillment within DeFi. Now, another highlight today: Real OS is going beyond automated financial operating systems to become a digital piggy bank for investment products—combining on-chain payroll, dollar-cost averaging, and RWA yields. Non-custodial, never touches user assets, and generates wallets via email alone. The piggy bank offers 4.8%–8.2% APY, a clear step down from traditional banks’ 0.5%–4%. But what truly struck me was the time capsule—not because it’s polished, but because it’s not utilitarian. While everyone else is chasing PayFi and RWA, someone built a product that lets your future self open a letter ten years from now. That’s the moment I want to remember today. @RialoHQ @rialo_zw
