Wu Shuo learned that Vitalik Buterin stated that the Ethereum Foundation (EF) will transition in the future toward a smaller, more long-term-oriented, and clearly positioned organizational structure, no longer acting as the "center" of the Ethereum ecosystem but instead existing as a node with well-defined responsibilities. Given EF’s limited resources and its holding of only approximately 0.16% of ETH, its focus will shift to core areas such as censorship resistance, capture resistance, openness, privacy, and security, rather than broadly assuming ecosystem-building functions. Vitalik believes that Ethereum should not solely pursue maximal TPS and low latency, but should instead develop differentiated advantages in CROPS dimensions—formal verifiability, stronger consensus security, and reduced reliance on intermediaries—goals that are not in conflict with scaling, L2s, or lower slot times. He also noted that ETH is Ethereum’s most financially valuable asset, but some tasks supporting ETH assets fall outside EF’s scope and must be shared by other organizations within the ecosystem. https://t.co/VSuFlDTFFr
