No, not all PFPs are "art". Many NFT collections are just low-level design by cheap Fiveer graphic artists who've been abused by founders to produce a collection. I do not consider most collections to be art, as they're not the expression of soul, heart, and hands but just basic design. The intent matters, and that doesn't mean there are no art NFTs. As an example, I do like a lot of BAYC, but I do not consider the monkey JPEGs art... it's a collectible & club membership with a fun monkey graphic. Xcopy, Beeple, without a debate, are art. Cryptopunks too, generative art, it was an experiment, innovative, the purpose was artistic. So, yeah, some PFPs are art, some aren't. And it's okay. A membership can be worth more than art. It's fine, and as a community, we shouldn't force the narrative to trick everyone into thinking all NFT PFPs are art. Most of them, despite their price, are crappy cheap asf visuals.
