DeFi United 🤝 Eleven projects/individuals have now announced their participation in the DeFi rescue initiative, with disclosed funds totaling 43,500 ETH (approximately $100 million). Combined with Arbitrum’s frozen 30,766 ETH (approximately $71.5 million) and Aave’s Umbrella insurance pool’s 23,507.63 WETH, the total reaches $220 million—sufficient to cover the low-case scenario of bad debt and nearly closing the gap to the high-case scenario. Rescuing Aave is also an act of self-preservation for the DeFi industry.
