just 4 months into 2026… and the number of hacks already is alarming same mistakes… same losses… same outcomes > the biggest ones so far Drift Protocol - $285M in April - attackers spent months social engineering their way in - gained admin access and drained funds - one of the biggest hits this year Random user - $282M in January - got tricked into giving access - one wrong click… everything gone Step Finance - $27M–$40M in January - team device compromised - private keys stolen Truebit - $26M in January - smart contract exploit - attacker minted tokens and drained ETH Resolv Labs - $25M in March - cloud system compromised - fake stablecoins minted Saga bridge - $7M in January - bridge exploit - funds drained quickly IoTeX bridge - $4.4M in February - validator key compromised - fake tokens minted Hyperbridge - $237K in April - fake bridge messages used to mint tokens Dango - over 400k exploited > the real problem (how these hacks were performed) - phishing - stolen keys - bad permissions - social engineering - poor security practices not some genius-level hacks… just the same preventable mistakes It's 2026, is there any clear solution past this...??? 🤔
