🚨 Two top Ethereum ZK L2s just announced cost-cutting moves on the same day @Starknet is downsizing its team and switching to “startup mode.” They want to move faster, cut waste, and focus on real revenue and usage instead of just building the best tech. @Scroll_ZKP is dissolving its Security Council and handing admin control to a simple multisig. The council cost more than it was used, so they’re redirecting that money to build products and drive growth. Both teams basically admit the same thing: the ZK tech is mature… but the real products and users still aren't there. Importantly, this isn’t bad news for Ethereum. On the contrary, L2 teams are finally moving beyond simply being “Ethereum scalers.” As Ethereum’s own scaling improves rapidly, L2s must now create unique value and sustainable businesses.
