prediction markets will replace perps and options. i want to short ETH without touching perps or worrying about liquidations. so I create a prediction market: “will ETH close below $3,000 today?” and load $15 into “yes”, basically creating my own short position. i don't worry about liquidations, funding fees, greeks, margin calls, etc. it's a pure simplified price game where i just choose "yes" or "no". rest in peace, cboe, cme, hyperliquid, etc.
