Collateral in Defi previously the collateral in Defi have largely been early startup tokens, this has made many investors nervous about holding them as collateral. now we are entering the era of assets that are growing collateral, eg tokenised stocks that are growing on average 10% per year and are paying dividends. this is going to unlock so many new opportunities in Defi and we are just getting started.
