I just saw that Predict has launched its developer dashboard—this update is highly practical. Previously, when integrating with Predict, developers often had to manually manage API keys, usage quotas, and rate limits, and troubleshoot issues step by step when problems arose. Now, with the unified dashboard, developers can directly create applications, generate keys, monitor usage and rate limits, manually request higher traffic tiers, and even import existing keys. This significantly improves developer control. In particular, the new trade surge limits—capping the number of order creation and cancellation requests per second—may impact high-frequency trading or bot scenarios. But from the perspective of platform stability and fair usage, I believe this is a necessary step. Moreover, the new limits are enabled by default for new applications, while existing apps will only be subject to them upon their next request for higher rate limits—giving current developers a clear transition period. As prediction markets scale, the developer experience will become increasingly critical. Whether a platform enables low-friction onboarding, transparent quota visibility, and reliable performance ultimately determines whether its ecosystem can grow sustainably. In my view, this dashboard update is an infrastructure-level improvement. When developers are empowered to build, users gain more ways to engage.
