Kimi K3 spent 30 minutes and roughly 200,000 tokens building a Geometry Dash clone that came surprisingly close to Claude Fable 5. Task: mobile game with jumping, obstacles, levels, music and visual effects. Claude result: Fable Dash, playable and complete. Kimi result: another finished game with comparable functionality and cleaner visuals in several areas. This was not a benchmark with abstract percentages. Both models received nearly the same brief, then the video placed the finished products side by side. Some design decisions were different. The capability gap was much smaller than the brand gap. The post below explains why coding models are becoming interchangeable faster than people expect. When the same prompt produces two shippable games, distribution and price start mattering more than the model name.
