$CBRS just announced a 165 MW AI data-center project in Finland. But the number I'm watching is $2.3 billion. Cerebras separately disclosed about $2.3B of future minimum payments for additional data-center leases. Important: that $2.3B is not the disclosed cost of the new Finland project. Demand looks strong: Q2 cloud revenue: $126M, +281% YoY Remaining performance obligations: $25.4B Data-center capacity: 600+ MW live or contracted for delivery The Finland project is planned to scale from 50 MW → 80 MW → 165 MW, under service orders with seven-year terms. But more AI capacity doesn't automatically mean better economics. The real question is whether customer demand fills that capacity fast enough for GAAP cloud gross margin to improve. If utilization rises and GAAP cloud gross margin improves as capacity comes online, the infrastructure commitments start proving their economics. If capacity grows faster than profitable demand, those long-term commitments become the risk. The AI demand story is visible. Now the megawatts need to pay for themselves.
