$BTC AT $84.7K: THE 70% UPSIDE TO ITS $144K TREND ISN’T EVEN THE MOST BULLISH PART. My 16-year Bitcoin power-law model explains 96.2% of historical log-price variation. But the real opportunity is understanding growing demand meeting increasingly reluctant sellers. My quantitative framework: 1. Real Options: Every holder has the option to wait. As more holders refuse to sell, buyers must offer higher prices to unlock supply. 2. Convexity & Jensen’s Inequality: When supply becomes increasingly difficult to unlock, the price response to demand can become nonlinear. Small changes in demand can produce disproportionately large price moves. 3. Reflexivity: Higher prices attract attention, capital, and adoption, potentially reinforcing the rally. 4. Two Clocks: The 400-day average tracks market cycles. The 1,510-day average tracks longer-term structure. Today, the cycle is weak while the structural trend keeps rising. Now combine those forces with Bitcoin's absolute 21M coin supply limit. Unlike oil or gold, higher prices cannot stimulate additional Bitcoin production beyond its programmed issuance. The $144K power-law trend is a valuation reference. The real opportunity is the nonlinear price response when growing demand meets scarce available supply. Bitcoin has a mathematical limit on supply. There is no mathematical limit on what buyers may have to pay to convince holders to sell.
