I thought I understood FortressName™ already. Then I actually searched mine. @Skysamog ✅ Seeing your own name sitting there changes the product from an idea into something pretty obvious: this is what crypto payments should have felt like from the start. A name I can actually give someone. Not: “copy this 42-character address” “check the first four” “check the last four” “send a test transaction first” Just a name. And the interesting part is what happens underneath. On supported @Americanfort_io flows, that readable identity doesn’t have to mean exposing one permanent wallet address forever. The name stays simple. Fresh payment destinations can handle the plumbing underneath. The blockchain still does the settlement. I don’t have to think about any of that when someone asks: “where do I pay you?” That’s the detail that clicked for me. Good privacy UX shouldn’t feel like activating a privacy feature. It should just feel like the normal way to pay someone. @Skysamog is available. Now I get why the name layer matters.
