NEW: Charles Schwab clients can now buy bitcoin in the same account that holds their index funds. CEO Rick Wurster says that all clients can access Schwab Crypto, ending a rollout that began in the spring. Trades cost 0.75%, with Paxos handling execution and sub-custody. New York and Louisiana are excluded. Inbound transfers are rolling out, so existing holders can move coins in. Wurster called Bitcoin a new transaction-based revenue stream, which tells you how the biggest brokers now see bitcoin.
