There’s one version of “compliant privacy” I don’t really buy: your activity is private… except someone gets a permanent window into all of it. That doesn’t feel like privacy. It feels like surveillance with better permissions. The direction @Americanfort_io is taking with SafeSend™ is more interesting to me. The idea is that disclosure happens when there’s actually something to prove. A counterparty needs supporting information? Share what matters. An auditor needs evidence for one payment? Provide the relevant record. But that request shouldn’t automatically unlock the rest of someone’s financial history. That’s the difference between: access by default and disclosure by choice. SafeSend™ is still in development, so I’m talking about the architecture here not a live feature. But the principle is strong: compliance shouldn’t require a permanent viewing window. It should require the right proof, for the right party, at the right moment. Privacy with accountability. Without turning accountability into surveillance.
