A Bitcoin payment can trigger cross-chain contract logic on @Pact_Swap without Bitcoin running that contract. Powered by @CoinwebOfficial , reactive smart contracts observe events on the underlying chains and activate when the relevant conditions occur. For a BTC-to-ETH swap, that means detecting the Bitcoin payment, checking the counterparty’s Ethereum delivery and applying the agreement’s collateral rules. The Bitcoin transaction remains a Bitcoin transaction. The cross-chain logic executes on Coinweb, where it can follow both sides of the trade. That separation gives an ordinary native payment a role in a programmable agreement spanning independent networks. Bitcoin does not need an EVM, a new token standard or a protocol upgrade to participate. Its existing transactions can drive something bigger.
