There has been a lot of noise in the world lately. Coincidentally, these moments of distraction always seem to occur precisely when you, as an investor, need to focus most on the market. Yet I don’t believe in coincidences. If you knew me in real life but didn’t know I’m “Potato,” you’d likely think I’m crazy—because my views have always gone against the mainstream. That’s why, beyond making money, I avoid discussing anything else on my account—I consider all of it distraction. Bias toward any person or event is a distraction. A new week begins tomorrow. After weeks of the Ledger incident, falling ill due to Singapore’s haze, and the unrest in Europe, it’s time to relock and refocus.
