MEV is an undesirable problem in crypto, but it is slowly being addressed. On the other hand, you’d be a fool to think it doesn’t exist in traditional finance. TradFi isn’t just exposed to the same basic dynamics, it has entire business models built around extracting value from order flow, information asymmetries, and privileged positioning.
