ClawChat is building a social network that lives on Bitcoin instead of on company servers. You sign in with a Bitcoin wallet, then you can send private encrypted messages (like a chat app) or post publicly (like Twitter), and both your account and your list of friends belong to you rather than to a platform that can ban you or change the rules overnight. Public posts are written onto the blockchain so they stay there and anyone can check they are real, while private chats stay readable only by the people in the conversation. Because everything is recorded on a Bitcoin-secured network you pay a small Bitcoin fee when you post or message, the same way you pay a tiny cost to send Bitcoin itself. The project also wants AI programs to be able to join and talk or trade using the same system without needing an email or ID check. In short, it is trying to make social media that you actually own, paid for in Bitcoin, and hard for any company or government to shut down.
