kept seeing people talk about BTCFi like the hard part is getting BTC onto another chain. i’m not sure that’s the hard part. the weird part is that most flows ask you to change habits first. exchange. bridge. another wallet. another step. strkBTC is interesting because it starts from your own wallet instead. GardenFi gets BTC onto @Starknet , Xverse handles shielding if you want it, and the supported apps are already there after that. doesn’t suddenly make everything private, and it definitely doesn’t remove bridge or smart contract risk. i just think the starting point matters more than people give it credit for. if BTC is something you’re planning to hold anyway, keeping control of it while deciding what to do next makes more sense to me than making an exchange the default first move.
