I remember the criticism when the Enugu State Government launched Enugu Air. At the time, I explained why I believed it was the right move not just as an airline, but as a strategic way to sell Enugu positively to the outside world, create more employment opportunities, attract investment, and generate additional revenue for the State. Now, seeing international routes like Enugu–Douala, Abuja–Douala and Lagos–Douala being activated, I believe the bigger picture is beginning to make more sense. Development takes time. Sometimes, you have to look beyond the immediate criticism and understand what a project can become when properly executed. For me, this is bigger than flying from one city to another. It is about connectivity, visibility, opportunities and positioning Enugu for the world. Shalom 🙏
