BITCOIN ETFs: In January of 2024 the SEC approved the first Bitcoin exchange traded funds (ETFs). For the first time in history, any American with a brokerage account is able to buy bitcoin as easily as they can buy stock in Apple, Amazon, or Tesla. And the ETFs are run and marketed by BlackRock (IBIT), Fidelity (FBTC), and most of the other biggest names in financial management. Financial advisors are slowly coming online, as their compliance teams approve the ETFs. All of this is extremely bullish for the long-term price of bitcoin.
