Friends, I am absolutely certain that Bitcoin will be the future monetary system of the world. There is a very clear path for each bitcoin to be worth between $500,000 and $1 million per coin over the next 5 to 10 years. Who doesn’t want to have a 10X increase in their purchasing power! Bitcoin is incredibly powerful, and the technology is so amazing and so compelling in its monetary properties that I just don’t see how it doesn’t become the future monetary system of the world. Time will tell, but I would be surprised if there is any other outcome. Bitcoin is the scarcest commodity on planet earth that has the necessary monetary properties to serve as money. It took the title away from gold, which has held it for more than 5,000 years. There will only ever be 21 million bitcoin, but gold is inflating at a rate of about 2% per year, as they dig about that much new gold out of the ground every year. That means the amount of gold in circulation doubles about every 36 years. By comparison, Bitcoin is truly and absolutely scarce.
