14 years ago, Bitcoin surpassed 10 million mined BTC. This occurred at block 200,000, when the block reward was still 50 BTC. Two months later, the first halving reduced it to 25 BTC. Code doesn’t need to promise scarcity. It can simply enforce it. #btc
