In Berlin advertised rents have roughly doubled since 2014 and half of all WG rooms now list above €650. Linke ran on actually doing the 2021 expropriation referendum the city already passed 59–41. People who need a flat heard that. People sitting on cheap old contracts did not. East: the kids went right. Capital: they went hard left. The center got grandpa.
