Bitcoin may be approaching the most expensive question you can ask a holder: “Okay… what price will actually make you sell?” That’s how I’m thinking about 81k–86k. There’s a lot happening in this but mostly hidden. You’ve got holders getting back towards prices where selling becomes tempting, a lot of Bitcoin sitting around these cost levels, and the options market starts getting more interesting here too. After everything Bitcoin has absorbed recently, you would normally expect higher prices to bring more sellers back into the market. But here’s where it gets intriguing . I don’t necessarily need some huge new wave of buyers to become more bullish. I want to know what price finally makes the existing holders say, “Fine, I’ll sell.” Because think about how a market actually works. A buyer wants Bitcoin at 81k. The holder says no. So the buyer offers 82k. Still no. 83k? Still not enough. Eventually somebody has to move. And if Bitcoin keeps offering holders better and better prices, but not enough coins come back onto the market, then buyers have a problem. They have to keep raising what they’re willing to pay until they find someone willing to sell. So the next Bitcoin move might not need demand to suddenly explode. It could come from something much quieter: the people who already own the Bitcoin simply deciding their coins are worth more than the market currently thinks. If that’s what is happening, 81k wouldn’t be just resistance. It would be an auction for conviction.
