The more I used @MovitOn_P2P the more I realized this is not really trying to be “another delivery app.” The interesting part is the movement already happening around us. Someone is traveling from A → B anyway. Someone else needs to send a package to B. MovitOn is basically trying to connect those two things. Instead of creating an entirely separate delivery route, an existing traveler can potentially carry the shipment along their journey. I went through the beta and the product is already structured around different sides of this marketplace. Senders can create shipments, delivery agents can take on routes and users can discover destinations and available opportunities. It also goes beyond basic parcels. Documents, valuables and even pets are part of the broader use case. But the infrastructure underneath is what caught my attention: - Smart-contract escrow - Security deposits - Live shipment tracking - AI-powered compliance checks That last piece is especially interesting. The goal is not simply to match a package with a traveler. The system is designed to check whether the shipment and route make sense before the journey actually takes place. And then there’s the bigger marketplace vision. MovitOn wants the same travel activity to connect people with accommodation, cars, entertainment and other local services. So the thesis becomes much bigger than “someone carries your package.” It is more like: existing movement → useful capacity → decentralized marketplace. One trip could potentially serve multiple needs instead of being useful for transportation alone. I’m still treating MovitOn as an early-stage product, but actually going through the beta made the concept much easier to understand. Android beta is live, while iOS access is available through TestFlight. Definitely one of those projects that makes more sense after you actually use the product rather than just reading the pitch.
