AI can answer a question. That doesn’t mean a decentralized network can agree on the answer. That’s the part of @GenLayer I find more interesting. Traditional smart contracts work well when the inputs and rules are deterministic. But once a contract needs to interpret a webpage, an announcement, or some other piece of messy real-world information, different models can reach different conclusions. So the real problem isn’t just “Can AI make a decision?” It’s “How can independent validators reach a reliable decision when the thing being evaluated is inherently interpretive?” That makes AI consensus less of a feature and more of an infrastructure problem. As intelligent agents start interacting with real-world information, resolving disagreement may become just as important as generating the initial answer.
