Actually, this already breaks the law. For a political figure to place themselves above the law based on personal preference is a terrifying thing in itself. Why have we always advocated for decentralization? Because centralization hides far too much from our view. While I also think exchanges need more regulation, it shouldn't happen for political reasons. It is somewhat ironic. Maybe on-chain is the ultimate sanctuary for decentralized idealists, but even on-chain seems to be slowly swallowed up by regulation now.
