some people are profitable within a year other people spend 3 years getting destroyed and then suddenly make more progress in 6 months than they did in the previous 3 years trading is weird like that you can spend months feeling like you’re going absolutely nowhere then your risk gets better you stop taking stupid trades and suddenly everything starts clicking at once everyone’s timeline is completely different so study traders who are ahead of you, steal what’s useful, raise your standards because of them but don’t let their results convince you that you’re behind because the months where your P&L looks like shit can still be the months where you’re becoming dangerous if you’re building actual skill while everyone else is chasing setups, switching strategies and looking for shortcuts you’re heading in the right direction TRUST ME.
