There’s something interesting about this 24-hour BTC chart: the price is holding around the $76–80K range, but the Long/Short ratio isn’t heavily skewed in either direction. Lately, the ratio has mostly hovered near equilibrium, with only occasional large green or red spikes. Notably, BTC’s sharp rally from $65K to nearly $80K wasn’t accompanied by an extended, extreme imbalance in the Long/Short ratio. I prefer this kind of market state over one where one side becomes overly crowded. Now, what I’m watching is whether the Long/Short ratio starts to shift significantly as BTC approaches $80K. If it does, that’s when the position data will be worth examining more closely alongside open interest and volume.
