Good morning @quipnetwork ☕️ I want to talk about something that hit me differently this week after going deep on quantum research. The entire history of computing has been defined by one curve: Moore's Law. Every two years, transistor density doubles, processing power doubles, cost halves. That curve ran for 50 years and built everything we interact with digitally today. Moore's Law is ending. We are physically approaching the atomic limits of classical transistor miniaturization. The curve that built the internet, built AI, built blockchain is flattening. The research community has known this for a decade. The question was always: what comes next? Quantum computing is the answer that serious researchers, serious governments and serious capital have converged on. But here's what I don't see discussed enough in the context of @quipnetwork specifically: The transition from classical to quantum computing infrastructure isn't going to look like a switch being flipped. It's going to look like a layer being added. Classical compute doesn't disappear. It handles what it handles well. Quantum compute gets routed to the problems where it has genuine advantage optimization, cryptography, simulation, search. What you need for that layered world to function: → A marketplace where workloads find the right hardware automatically → Verified, on-chain settlement so results are auditable not just asserted → Permissionless access so researchers, developers and enterprises don't need enterprise contracts → A network of diverse hardware CPU, GPU, QPU competing on merit That is exactly what @quipnetwork is building. My long vision: when Moore's Law fully plateaus and the world genuinely needs the next computing paradigm, the infrastructure layer that routes workloads between classical and quantum hardware becomes as critical as AWS became to the internet. The difference is AWS was built by one company and owned by shareholders. @quipnetwork is being built as a decentralized network owned by the people running it. That distinction is going to matter enormously when the transition arrives. Are you thinking about quantum as a replacement for classical computing or as the next layer on
