WHAT A WEEK FOR BITCOIN On Tuesday, the Senate failed to advance the CLARITY Act, dealing a setback to hopes for clearer U.S. crypto regulation. Just 24 hours later, the Fed raised interest rates by 25 basis points to 3.75%–4%, its first hike in more than three years. Bitcoin initially dropped toward $75,000, but buyers stepped in, pushing $BTC back above $80,000 by Friday. Two major setbacks in one week, yet Bitcoin refused to stay down.
