Has the cryptocurrency sector emerged from its chaotic phase? On CNBC’s Global View program, I assessed the current state of the cryptocurrency market. Despite rising oil prices and bond yields, Bitcoin has remained strong. This year, Bitcoin has continued its trajectory with far less damage from chaotic events. One of the main reasons is the base it has built in the $60K–$80K range. The SEC’s temporary approval for tokenized equities to trade on blockchain has reinvigorated the altcoin market. We’re on a solid path, but short-term pullbacks are still possible.
