BREAKING: House Majority Whip Tom Emmer just called out the Senate directly. "We sent the CLARITY Act, with almost 100 Democrat votes, and it languishes over in the Senate." The House passed it. Bipartisan support there, already secured. The Senate hasn't voted at all. Emmer's own framing: "The Senate's got to start to perform." Even naming the continuing resolution as the higher priority right now. Government funding through December 11. CLARITY still sitting behind it. Here's the actual math in the Senate. 60 votes needed. Republicans hold 53. Tim Scott's own estimate: 12-18 Democrats potentially open to it. Warren remains the biggest force blocking that math from closing. September 15's cloture vote is the next real test. The House already did its part, months ago. The Senate hasn't even brought it to the floor.
