Why is it unsurprising no mainstream physicist study or promote Bitcoin? This video answers why: Warren Buffet: “I wouldn’t use 25$ to buy all Bitcoin in world” People like Warren Buffett, they have a lot of money. They have smart physicists on retainer to solve hard problems that may emerge within their line of business. If smart physicists on retainer tell Buffet that Bitcoin is a scam. Or if they tell him Bitcoin threatens the financial system that Mr. Buffett prefers. Then no grants will flow from Buffet to physicists that want to study Bitcoin. It's that simple. So when you hear talented physicists studying string theory and thinking of things like singularities, they won't understand Bitcoin. Because Bitcoin goes against everything that's being funded by people that share the view of Buffet. Remember Berkshire owns a lot of equity in Bank of America. And BoA is a membership bank and large primary dealer with pull to choose FOMC directors at the FED. Bitcoin is a direct competitor to the FED central bank system. Why would Buffet sacrifice his power position in traditional finance to support Bitcoin, regardless of whether it’s new physics or not? So, there is no incentive for talented physicists to study Bitcoin. Or physics that produces Bitcoin. Unless they do it for the sake of pursuing the truth only, without regards to promotions, even in academia where there is no money compared to the private sector.
