15 years ago today, Bitcoin was around $8. Think about that for a second. Laszlo Hanyecz spent 10,000 $BTC on two pizzas in 2010 because Bitcoin was basically internet money. James Howells threw away a hard drive containing thousands of $BTC and has spent years trying to recover it from a landfill. There are people who lost laptops, forgot passwords, lost seed phrases or simply sold their Bitcoin because they never imagined what it could become. But Bitcoin never forgot. Those coins are still sitting on the blockchain. 15 years later, Bitcoin is still running. No CEO. No bank. No customer support. Just Bitcoin being Bitcoin. 🧡
