Quick rant on how most of retail sees markets Whether it's crypto, stocks, etc Over the years I've noticed investors become entitled the moment they invest Here's the cold truth The market owes you & I absolutely NOTHING The moment you invest, there are only two possibilities. You make money. Or you don't. There was NEVER a guarantee of either It's simply a game of probabilities The problem starts when people stop investing... They start mentally spending money they haven't even made yet. "If this coin goes to $10..." "I'll quit my job." "I'll buy a Lamborghini." "I'll finally become financially free." Before the market has even moved... They've already attached future expectations to an uncertain outcome. Some people take it even further. They overleverage. They size positions as though success is guaranteed rather than possible. Now the investment isn't just an opportunity. It's become a necessity. Your future depends on it succeeding. And the moment price moves against them... The emotion begins. Every investment is simply a probability. Yet every cycle we see the same thing. Timelines flooded with comments like: "WHY ISN'T THIS COIN GOING UP IT'S A SCAM" "IT'S NOT GOING UP IT MUST BE DEAD" "THEY LIED TO US." When you zoom out and actually read these comments it's pretty ridiculous. These are grown ass adults, many of which are parents, freaking out over the market behaviour. Yet the second an investment doesn't move the way they expected... They throw a tantrum. The truth is... The market doesn't care. It doesn't know your average entry. It doesn't care for your finances It doesn't know how much conviction you have. And it certainly doesn't owe you a profit. That's also why your investment thesis matters. If your only reason for buying something is... "I hope number go up." You're going to be emotionally attached to every candle. But if you've spent the time understanding and researching the fundamentals... The utility. The adoption. The long-term direction. Then all the short-term panic and volatility becomes much easier to stomach. Because your conviction comes from research. Not from yesterday's price action. –––––––––– If you want guarantees... Put your money into a savings account. Buy government bonds. Accept lower returns. Because the moment you chase higher returns... You're no longer "entitled" to any form of ROI You're voluntarily accepting higher uncertainty. That's the trade-off.
