I have hired myself as the lawyer for a position more times than I want to count. Green news was research. Red news was noise. That is how I stayed wrong. A thesis has to breathe on catalysts and financial statements, not on the story I need to be true. If the reason is gone, I take the loss. If size is too big, I cut it. I do not stretch the old idea until it covers any price. Open mind. Write what would kill the name before the mood arrives. Then follow it. Process first. That is how you stop protecting a ticket and start doing the job.
