Are global markets on the brink of a major crisis? Nouriel Roubini, CEO of Roubini Macro Associates, made striking remarks during a program. Nouriel Roubini: "Inflation expectations in the U.S. are hovering around 2%, so they are not the primary driver behind the recent rise in bond yields. During periods of high risk appetite and strong growth, both stock and bond yields tend to rise together—that’s normal. While geopolitical risks are always present globally, I remain generally optimistic over the medium term because I believe artificial intelligence and new technologies will drive productivity and growth." Assessment: Nouriel Roubini does not characterize current market conditions as a signal of a global crisis.
