enterprise AI has a boring bottleneck that benchmarks dont measure: how long it takes to become usable. a model can look incredible in a demo and still spend months stuck between security reviews, integrations and deployment. thats why one detail on ARC TERMINALs current site stood out to me. @TheARCTERMINAL says a fixed scope business or government pilot can be live inside two weeks, with a named engineer from kickoff through go live. the interesting part isn't just two weeks. its ownership of the messy gap between buying AI and actually putting it to work. as models become easier to access, that gap may become one of the real competitive advantages. better intelligence matters. but so does reducing the distance between: we should try this and this is running inside our organisation. AI adoption might ultimately be won by whoever removes the most friction around deployment. what matters more for enterprise adoption: model quality or time to production?
