What Is Halving? Halving is the process by which the reward miners receive per block is cut in half, reducing the rate at which new #Bitcoin enters the market. At its core, it’s simply based on basic supply and demand logic: as the influx of new Bitcoin decreases, scarcity emerges, and prices are expected to rise. Before a halving, we often see a mix of anticipation, volatility, and sometimes minor pullbacks driven by the “sell the news” mentality. However, after the halving, as the reduced supply creates noticeable scarcity—typically over the 6 to 12 months following the event—the price begins to rise and often reaches a new all-time high. While nothing in the crypto market is guaranteed, Bitcoin’s halving cycle remains its strongest long-term price-supporting force. In our changing world, will the halving cycle still hold true? Or is it time to write a new story for #BTC? Let’s discuss in the comments👇🏻
