I think the most interesting part of private transactions is not the transaction itself. It is the moment before you press send. On a transparent chain, you already know that the transaction details will become part of a public record. The destination, amount and wallet activity can potentially be observed and connected with other information. That makes privacy a very specific requirement. You do not necessarily want every transaction private. Sometimes the public path is completely fine. But there are transactions where you stop for a second and think about whether this particular movement really needs to be visible forever. That is where the Privacy Protocol from @BeldexCoin gets interesting to me. The concept is to create a separate private route for assets that normally live on transparent chains, using a pegged private representation and then redeeming it back to the original asset later. The important part is that the native chain does not have to stop being transparent. Privacy becomes an additional path instead of forcing every transaction into the same model. That feels much more practical than pretending every transfer has the same privacy requirement. @TheARCTERMINAL @quipnetwork
