But in the ensuing 191 years America has been plunged $40 trillion into debt. On current projections, the next $40 trillion will be accumulated in only 16 years! What it took 8 generations to accumulate, a baby born today will see accumulated on her 16th birthday. Happy sweet sixteen, Amanda, we added $40 trillion in debt before you could legally work!!
