It’s outdated to talk about silicon cycles when we’re entering this new era. Data centers are becoming increasingly essential, and so is memory. While traditional vehicles required only 1–2 GB of DRAM, the integration of advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS) and AI features is expected to increase DRAM requirements to more than five times that amount for Level 2+ systems, and over 300 GB for Level 4 autonomous vehicles.
