Making money from Long 2 and Long 3 is much harder. The first requirement is correctly identifying the trend—under the right trend, Long 1, 2, 3, and 4 all rise. Second, the exit window for Long 2 and Long 3 is far shorter than for Long 1, and most people miss it. When these two challenges are combined, only about 10% of traders are likely to profit from Longs 2, 3, 4, and 5.
