Strategy purchased 4,603 Bitcoin for $370 million, at an average price of $80,318 per Bitcoin, marking the company’s first Bitcoin purchase in over two months. This transaction increases Strategy’s total Bitcoin holdings to 845,050 BTC, with a total cost basis of approximately $63.3 billion, equivalent to an average purchase price of $75,413 per BTC. The Bitcoin purchase was primarily funded by the sale of $602 million in common MSTR shares. Strategy also allocated $30 million to increase its cash reserves and $151.8 million to repurchase STRC preferred shares. The last time Strategy purchased Bitcoin was in mid-June, when it acquired 1,587 BTC for approximately $100 million. The latest purchase follows Saylor’s announcement over the weekend on X that Strategy was returning to accumulate Bitcoin with the post “We’re Back.”
